Notes: Tipperary Town has always been, and still basically is, a market town serving the local agricultural community. Every Friday the town fills with cattle trailers, lorries and tractors as farmers come into town to sell their stock, meet with their fellows and catch up with the news. As in many places throughout the world the market is both a necessity and a tradition and in this sequence of images I have tried to capture the essence of a days trading here in rural Ireland.
